THE Saints dropped their first points but stay clear in Group Two of the Setanta Cup after Dungannon Swifts were worth a third successive draw at wintry Stangmore Park last night.
The game was just three minutes old when teenage star Mark McAllister stunned the Group Two leaders with a great goal aided by uncharacteristic sloppiness in the Saints defence.
St Pats replied on 18 minutes with Alan Kirby's fourth goal of the season, a superb strike from 18 yards.
Dungannon regained the lead on 34 minutes, David Scullion playing a superb pass to Everaldo, the Brazilian's delightful first touch preceding a wonderful lob from close range.
St Pat's made two changes at the break and they went on the offensive immediately, their industry rewarded with a Keith Fahey goal on 48 minutes. After Scullion carelessly gave the ball, Fahey fired home a 25-yard drive.
