St. Patrick's Athletic moved to within three points of eircom league leaders, Drogheda United, when their deadly duo struck again at Dalymount Park.
Paul Keegan and Trevor Molloy were recruited at the start of the season by manager John McDonnell and they continue to repay his confidence in the most valuable currency of all.
Keegan struck the opening goal after just seven minutes, getting on the end of a cross from Molloy to help St. Pats establish an early advantage.
Molloy added the second after 29 minutes when his free kick from just outside the area beat the Vikings defence again. They were close to a third in the second half when Darragh Maguire had a shot taken off the goal-line.
