St Patrick's Athletic 1 - Shelbourne 3

TG4 hosted their very own Late, Late show last night as Shelbourne dramatically pulled seven points clear at the top of the eircom League, Premier Division.

The Reds came from behind to snatch a crucial win at the home of St Patrick's Athletic thanks to goals from Gary O Neill, Glen Crowe and Jamie Harris.

The hosts had taken the lead in spectacular fashion only nine minutes in when Keith Fahey curled home a stunning free-kick from the edge of the box.

But Shels fought back and O'Neill had the tie level as the break approached.

Jamie Harris came off the bench with nine minutes to go as Shels tried desperately to win this tie and the big Welshman headed into Crowe's path to earn the leading goal, and then two minutes later prodded past Ryan himself.
