Saints For Europe?
It is looking more likely that St Patrick's Athletic will represent the eircom League in this year's UEFA Cup following the withdrawl of Shelbourne from the Champions League.
In a statment from the club's official website, www.shelbournefc.ie, the Club has announced that it will not be applying for a UEFA licence this year.
It is almost certain that Derry City, last years league runners-up, will replace Shelbourne in the Champions League, and Pat's, FAI Cup runners-up, will replace Derry in the UEFA Cup compeition.
