League leaders, St Patrick's Athletic, let a two-goal lead slip after two moments of brilliance by Galway United's Aaron Bolger salvaged a 2-2 draw for the Tribesmen at Eamonn Deacy Park.

On a clear evening on Corribside, it was a comeback story from the home side, which prevented St Pat's from making it three league wins on the bounce.

It was an encounter in which Stephen Kenny's side set out to control the game from the get-go, as the Tribesmen searched for opportunities on the counter-attack.
