SEARCH FOR NEW MANAGER UNDERWAY
Following the recent resignation of Eamonn Collins, St Pat's have advertised the vacant position of first team manger. They posted the ad on Tuesday and interested parties have until next Wednesday to get their applications in.
There has been huge interest in the position and the Club has already received over 40 applications, including some from the U.K.
Though Chairman Andy O'Callaghan (pictured right) was quick to point out "it is the policy of St Patrick's Athletic to appoint from within the Club, or to those who have close connections to the Club."
St Pat's have enlisted help and support from the Irish International manager, and former St Pat's manager, Brian Kerr in their quest to have the new manager in place as quickly as possible.
“It’s the Club’s desire to make an appointment in the coming weeks, but we will not rush into making a hasty decision. Martin Russell has agreed to continue his role as acting manager until the position has been filled, which is a huge boost to the players and staff. We’ve a big game ahead of us next
