GLEN FITZPATRICK UPDATE
St Patrick's Athletic would like to express their gratitude to everyone who contacted the club over the weekend with messages of support for Glen Fitzpatrick, after he was suddenly taken ill prior to our game on Saturday evening last. We had agents, managers, reporters, staff and supporters from many clubs enquire as to his well-being, and it's in times like these when we come to appreciate the good nature of so many people involved in the League of Ireland.
We are particularly grateful to our chief scout Cyril Walsh and Dr. Matt Corcoran for their swift response to the incident at the time.
Glen is currently in hospital undergoing further tests and is in good spirits.
