ROGERS VOTED PAT’S PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Saints goalkeeper Gary Rogers was voted player of the month for March by the St Patrick's Athletic Supporters Club receiving over 40% of the votes cast.

Having kept five clean-sheets in seven league games Gary has been doing his bit to keep the Saints at the top of the table but he is quick to deflect praise:

"It's a team effort, it's not just down to the back four or five, there's a far higher work rate this year throughout the team from front to back and the management team of Pete Mahon and John Gill must take a lot of credit for that".

Rogers was presented with his award after the league game against Drogheda on Friday night in Mcdowells by Michael Brady a member of the St Patrick's Athletic Supporters' Club.
