Team News: Bray Vs Pat's

Liam Buckley's Saints return to league action on Monday as they make the short trip to the Carlisle Grounds to face Alan Mathews' Bray Wanderers side, kick-off 7.45pm.

The Inchicore side will be looking to bounce back from the 4-1 defeat suffered at home last Friday to Dundalk, while the Seagulls will be looking to build on the point they won away to Bohemians last week.

In team news, the Saints will be without Rene Gilmartin with a hamstring injury, while Buckley will assess the fitness of Ken Oman who continues to recover from a groin strain.

Midfield duo Greg Bolger and Killian Brennan will miss out on the game due to their respective sending-offs last Friday.

“Alan Mathews has put together a good squad of players in a short space of time. He has added some good players to the squad and retained some of last year's panel too. Therefore taking into account we'd two tough games out there last year, we're expecting another test on Monday,” Saints' boss Liam Buckley told stpatsfc.com.

“As we saw in the opening games to date, teams are still getting into their strides. Bray are capable of getting results at home as we saw in their win over Sligo. They also got a good point against Bohemians on Friday so we know we'll have to play well to take anything from the game."
