Conan Byrne's 44th minute goal was enough to earn the Saints their place in the Quarter Final of this year's FAI Ford Cup.
Byrne pounced to tap home from close range after Greg Murray saved Killian Brennan's free kick.
The Saints will now face Bohemians at home in the next round on the weekend ending September 14th
