Shane McEleney Joins Saints
St Patrick's Athletic are happy to announce the signing of 24 year old defender Shane McEleney from Derry City.
The Derry man joins the club having come through the ranks at the Brandywell and having won both the First Division and the FAI Cup in his time with his hometown club; McEleney being part of the Derry City that defeated the Saints in the 2012 final, and having also been part of the side that lost to Liam Buckley's side last season.
Saints' manager Liam Buckley could have the McEleney available for selection for tomorrow's SSE Aitricity League game in Richmond Park at 7.45pm against Galway United should his registration go through in time.
Team news for the Saints' match will be posted on stpatsfc.com later this afternoon.
