BOARD REPLY TO THE "PATS FOR RICHMOND" LETTER (2)

Has the club conducted detailed research into the cost of developing Richmond Park and if so, will they share that information with supporters?

Many plans for the development of Richmond Park have been put forward over the last number of years. In fact some of our biggest creditors relate to previous research carried out on proposed developments. However, driven by financial restrictions over the last few years, and recently by the Government's and FAI's stance on future grants for Richmond Park, the board has not carried out any further research on this. However it is our intention to carry out this research in formulating our medium and long term plans for the club and we will share that information with supporters.

Have any formal discussions been requested by any third party regarding the possibility of playing home games anywhere other than Richmond Park?

Have the club entered into discussions with any third party, either at the request of others or on the club's own initiative, regarding the same possibility and if so, what was the nature of those discussions?

As the answers to these two questions are the same I have taken them together. Members of the board, at the request of the FAI, have met with John Delaney to discuss the proposal of groundsharing, with the stadium in Tallaght being one of the options. These talks were of a purely exploratory nature and absolutely no commitments were made. We intend to continue these talks to ascertain the exact nature of what is on offer in Tallaght.
