Pre-Season Report: Bohs 2-3 Saints

St Patrick's Athletic began 2022 just as they left off in 2021, with a win against Bohemians in a repeat of the FAI Cup Final.

Goals from debutants Eoin Doyle and Mark Doyle and a Kyle Robinson strike secured a 3-2 friendly win over Keith Longs's side at FAI HQ last night in the opening game of pre-season.

Bohs' took the lead through Jamie Mullins, before new signing Eoin Doyle began his Super Saints career in perfect fashion with a super touch and strike to make a 1-1 at the break after Joe Redmond's excellent pass.

Tim Clancy's men took the lead thanks to Kyle Robinson's close range effort, on the rebound after Mark Doyle's effort was saved.

Promise Omochere levelled things up again before new boy, Mark Doyle sealed the win with a tidy finish on his first appearance in red and white, after a delightful Chris Forrester assist.

The Saints will be back in action pre season again next Friday against John Caulfield's Galway United.
